personality; Lauren is a really down to earth and caring girl. She’s a very generous and kind person. Lauren never really appreciated the people or things around her. As a teenager you tend to push your family out, for her, she wanted them as close as possible. She’s a family oriented girl, and tends to put others before herself; which isn’t always a great thing for her to do. She’ll give money to anyone who needs it, she’ll give someone a bed for as long as they need, and she’s usually there for advice whether it’s in person, over the phone, for via email. She’s there for those who are close to her. However, if she feels like she’s being taken advantage of, she won’t take your crap. Miss York is a strong young girl and has her ambitions straight. When she has a goal there’s nothing stopping her from making that. She’s a very punctual person. She hates being late for anything. Lauren is a very polite person. Even if she dislikes you a lot, she’ll still be polite to your face (with maybe a hint of sarcasm). When you first meet her, and if she’s by herself, she’s a fairly quiet and shy person. If she happens to know you, then you’ll know she’s super bubbly and fun. Lauren is a bit of a risk-taker and loves having fun. She’s super easy going and just likes to enjoy the company of others. She’s not one to exclude newcomers either. If she’s with a group of friends she’ll be down for any conversation, she’s a big chatter-box when given an ear. Lauren can be a bitch though, not everyone is a super sweet valley girl. If she doesn’t like you, you’ll know. Lauren gets jealous super easily. The jealousy could be about a boy, a shirt, anything that she doesn’t have or feels protective over. She gets jealous and envious of other people if she feels like they don’t deserve something, or it’s something that she feels she wants or should have.

history; Lauren was born in Vegas before moving around to a few places. She lived in LA and New York for a little while before coming here. She was very close to her grandma and not so much her mother or father who were too busy working or cheating on one another (that’s how she got her baby brother). When she was little, she and her grandma would often watch miss America on t.v. and that’s what started Lauren on the whole beauty pageant thing. She was in miss teen beauty pageants, teen angst got the best of her and she stopped participating in the events. Along with the fact that her grandma had a stroke so she wasn’t able to help Lauren out with the pageants anymore. Her grandma taught her how to sew, and that’s stayed with her for as long as she can remember its part of the reason why she wants to grow up into being a fashion designer and having her own label. She was a rebel throughout most of high school and wasn’t really meant for “fitting in”. She grouped herself with the most unlikely sorts of people and didn’t really stay in one particular clique. She had one best friend going through high school and has maintained that friendship. Lauren still loves to travel back and forth between places like LA and New York, often taking family trips there to visit friends and relatives. She’s always had a close relationship with her older brother; she goes to him a lot for advice and comfort when her friends aren’t around. He was one of the first people she turned to when she found out her mom was cheating on her dad. Then again, when she noticed pregnancy tests in the bathroom that obviously belonged to her mother, even if Lauren did take the blame for them to keep their little family together. Now she sits around creating clothes, updating herself on the newest trends, and working at the pet store.
